One of the many Christmas gifts I'm giving this year. What can I say, I'm a cheap-o. HA!
Anyway, I started out wanting to do a Spidey piece, but didn't intend to go this far with it. But I was just thinking about it at work the other day and I decided to do a Spidey 3 fanart. To my surpirise, Mark Brooks had already beat me to the punch (although for him, It's not just fanart, he continues to murder at Marvel.)
So I'm kinda happy with it. I don't like the way Spidey came out. I do like the line weights for the three characters. I dunno, let me know what you guys think and colorists and inkers beware: use at your own will! no need to note me asking permission, please just acknowledge me an the lines with a link if you post it. Later kiddies!
I really like the dynamism in this piece. I would just say that it's a little too symetrical and I think Spidey would look really cool if you brought his legs out in front of him like he was trying to get away from the two maniacs behind him.
Another thing I noticed is that you've got Sandman, almost completely surrounded by the black of Venom. This effect can sometimes flatten two images together, such as what I think is happening here.
I think if you shift Sandman more to the left, and Venom more to the right, it would look cool.
That's a wicked Spidey, really like how you did his eyes. The dust effect is awesome stuff too, great stuff.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
